What does the error message “An error has occurred; please try again later. If you are the owner…” mean?

If you have tried to process a transaction through your site, the error message might appear :

“An error has occurred; please try again later. If you are the owner of the integrator of this website, please log into the Barclaycard back office to see the details of the error.”

This is a general error message and what you’ll need to do is to log in to your ePDQ (Barclaycard) back-office account > Configuration > error logs and then check what kind of error was logged.

Errors would usually have error codes and this article, explains what that error code meant.
