The REST APIs are required by the AG plugins for certain features like the refund, and status check. Without the REST API details from the payment firm, the AG plugin will not be able to get requests to access and use data from them.
Here’s a template that you can use to request your account’s REST API details which you can send to the respective payment firm’s support team:

Copy this template, complete it with the data, and your name/signature, and then, you can simply send your REST API Key and Secret request via e-mail to the First Data Connect team at cloverukipgconnect@fiserv.com.
