We’ve got something very exciting in the works. It’s been a long time in the making, and we’re still working away on the finer details behind the scenes, but I thought I’d do an introductory blog post to let you know about our very exciting upcoming venture, Property Stack.

Property Stack is a new automated web service built especially for estate agents. We know that estate agents are busy people, but we also know that in today’s world, most property searches begin online, and so a well-maintained, attractive and clearly presented website is essential. The power and flexibility of the technology we’re harnessing for our service, coupled with a considered and well designed UX, means that Property Stack will be easy to use and set up, enabling start-up and established agencies alike to cut the costs and man hours involved in setting up a brand new website. We are offering an all in one digital property solution that can be used with any existing WordPress theme, or can be seamlessly integrated with our own premium themes – whatever works for you. We’ll be offering a subscription-based, fully managed service for estate agents who just want to get on with the job at hand, secure in the knowledge that their web platform is working for them, and not against them; alternatively, for agencies that have an in house developer, or just want to take a more hands-on approach, we’ll also be offering a WordPress plugin, and developing extra features and fixes that can help build additional functionality.

Our aim is for Property Stack to be an invaluable tool for residential agents and developers alike. The system will produce web sites that are flexible, adaptable and affordable, and provide some relief from the effort and hours consumed by building and maintaining a quality estate agency website. By developing an integrated and managed web solution, clients can be assured that their technology will always be up to date, ensuring a consistent and secure service. Clients can sign up for a monthly subscription to a managed service, giving them access to an affordable and minimum effort solution that offers maximum functionality – a complete win-win.

Thanks to the modular nature of the design and coding – which is what we’ve spent the last few months slogging away at! – we are able to engage directly with clients and developers to find out exactly what they need to help them interact with their own clients and vendors. We can then let them go off and get on with their jobs while we get on with developing the technology they need, and building a whole suite of expertly tailored functionality. In addition, we will be constantly developing new services – you know us! – to help our clients stay at the forefront of their market, which we know to be fast paced and demanding.

By signing up with Property Stack, clients get the best of both worlds: a compact and friendly team that cares about its customers and is committed to getting great results, as well as superior coding and outstanding branding and design, all of which add up to a simple but powerful web solution.

In addition to our fully managed service, we will also be offering a ‘freemium’ WordPress plugin, which helps developers to go beyond the basic, including additional functionality for your website through our bolt-on plugins, or give their site a whole new look with bolt-on ‘skins’. The core Property Stack plugin will be available for free on WordPress.org, and we’ll be working hard behind the scenes coming up with new plugins and themes that you can buy to supplement the core plugin. This service is aimed at helping designers, developers and clients who want to take a bit more of a hands-on approach.

Some of the extra features you can add in include: Vebra Alto API integrations, ‘book a viewing’ modals, map locations, custom emails, contact forms, MailChimp Integration, video property tours and Search & Slider (shortcodes), all of which help make a busy estate agency’s life a bit easier. You can also add your own functions and change the way your site looks with inbuilt hooks – we aim to be as flexible and adaptable as possible; technology should enhance your business operations, never limit or restrict them.

Community is very important to us, and listening to what our community are saying is, and always will be, the cornerstone of what we do, as our clients’ needs are key. It’s listening to our clients that led us to develop this new venture, and by working on it together we can develop more and more powerful solutions to really give our clients an edge over their competitors. We want you to always feel that you can come to us with any new ideas, or problems you need solving, whatever it is, we’ll try and make it happen. We’re planning to implement a voting system, whereby you can submit requests for additional features and we’ll get cracking on trying to build whichever ideas are most popular. We are here for you; we want to work for, and within, the community, and together we think we can build the best estate agency system on WordPress!
