How to install your We are AG plugin

Pre-requisites before installation

  • You’ll need to have a WordPress website with a minimum version WordPress version 5.5+
  • The PHP version of your site should be at least PHP version 7.2+
Note: You can reach out to your hosting provider if you are not sure about this information.
  • Our plugins are integrated with the WooCommerce plugin. You’ll have to ensure that the WooCommerce plugin is installed and activated.
For steps on how to install it for free, you can refer to this link –

Once you have got pre-requisites everything ready, here are the easy to follow steps on how to do it:

Step 1: Download the plugin from your We are AG account

Log in with your We are AG and download the latest version of your specific plugin from your We are AG account here:
For this example, we’ll be downloading the “AG WooCommerce Barclays ePDQ Payment Gateway” but the same process can be used on any We are AG plugin that you’ve purchased.

A file will be downloaded automatically and a pop-up would appear so that you can copy your license key. Click the “Copy License key” button as you’ll be needing that later.

Step 2 : Install the plugin on the WordPress admin dashboard

Login to your WordPress website > Plugins >  Click Add new.

WordPress website > Plugins >Upload plugin > Choose file > upload the file that you’ve downloaded from step 1 above.

Once you’ve chose the download file, click Install now.

After the plugin is installed, you’ll need to click on the Activate Plugin button to start using the plugin again.

Step 3: Active the plugin with your license key

You may see the pop-up below after activating the plugin. Paste in the license key that you’ve copied from step 1 and then click Agree & Activate license.

If you were not able to see this pop-up, you’ll have to access it from your WordPress Admin dashboard > AG WooCommerce Barclay ePDQ Payment Gateway (this will change depending on the name of the We are AG plugin that you are using).

Common issues that may occur during the plugin installation

  • Upon the activation of your license key, you may experience a “Too many redirects error message”. You can take a look at our article here to resolve it.
