Starting from version v2.0 of our plugin, we are thrilled to announce the integration of the new REST API.
This exciting addition brings a new experience, and access to the important capabilities for your WooCommerce store. With it, you’ll be able to effortlessly handle refunds, employ Status Check, oversee Subscription renewals, enable PBL (Pay by Link), and execute Capture & Void operations – all seamlessly integrated into your operations.
To start with it, you will need to get your API credentials from the developer portal, at this link – https://fiserv.dev/, then follow along our guide that you can access here:
How to Get REST API Credentials from the Developer Portal
Once you have your account’s REST API Secret, and Key, you may now proceed in using them in your WordPress site’s dashboard. Here’s a detailed step-by-step guide on how you can proceed:
1.) Log in to your WordPress dashboard as the administrator.
2.) From the dashboard, click on WooCommerce -> Settings -> Payments.
3.) From the Payments page, click on the “Manage” button to access the AG First Data Connect Checkout Settings. You will notice the New REST API tab where you can add the API Key, and Secret that you have for your Fiserv account.
A simple touch, yet covers the sophisticated features that you will need for your shop!
Existing users, worry not, no need for confusion as we totally got you in mind while we were implementing this.
If you’re an existing user of our plugin, you will be able to see the old API Secret, and Key still set in the Legacy REST API tab, alongside the new REST API tab.
Please note that you will still need to request for the new API credentials to make the mentioned functionalities above work seamlessly with your shop.
