You might have noticed something a bit different around here… We have a fresh new look! The past few months have been a roller coaster for me; after launching AG Design in January last year, I have watched it go from strength to strength, beyond anything I could have imagined, and I now feel that we’re ready for the next upwards incline!

Having spent the best part of a year working on website development projects big and small across all areas, with some truly fantastic clients and on some hugely rewarding projects, not only have I learned more than I did in years with an agency, but I’ve realised what it is I really love doing. Then I thought, having taken the initial leap to becoming a freelancer, why not go another step and find my own niche, and specialise in the thing that is what really gets me up and at the computer first thing every morning (via the first coffee, of course)? WordPress and WooCommerce is where I’m happiest, specifically bespoke themes and plugin development, this is where AG is going to focus its attentions from now on, and so we felt a fresh new look was called for, to reflect our fresh new attitude!

Our new image thus coincides with a re-orienting of our products and services to concentrate on WordPress and WooCommerce development, the things we’re really passionate about. I am an Affiliated Woo Worker, and I want the company to reflect my specialism in and advocacy of this truly exciting platform. We’re hoping that our re-branding will help to communicate the message that we’re not just another web design firm; we’re different, we’re specialists and we just really love WordPress!

One of our biggest selling points, and the projects we most enjoy working on, are custom builds and development. At the heart of all design enterprises is creativity, and we’re no different; given the chance we love nothing more than to get right down to the nitty gritty of a business, charity or individual, and really find out what they’re about, what drives their activity, what they want to achieve – who they are. Design isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s about reflection; your website should reflect you, and it’s our job to capture what that is. Our bespoke development services allow us to anchor our creativity around you, the customer, to create a site so ‘you’ it’s as if you built it yourself!

We’re so excited about this new chapter, and can’t wait to get started on all the unique and exciting projects that are just waiting to be realised, and turned into something really special!
