Yes, our plugin would support subscription payments, but this would require that you use WooCommerce subscriptions.
Once you have the WooCommerce subscriptions installed, you can create subscription WooCommerce products.
Here’s how your product page would look like:
If you have tried to purchase the product using our plugin, you may see this error message:
For the subscription manager not activated error to be resolved, you will need to login to your ePDQ BackOffice account > Configuration > Account > Your options > Available options and activate the subscription manager.
Once you try to purchase the same subscription product, the subscription manager not activated error would not occur anymore. As a user, you would be prompted to debit the subscription amount before you avail of it.
To further explain this process, you have a monthly subscription, and a customer buys this from your website, they are sent to Barclays to make the payment and are shown a notice on the payment screen to confirm they are happy with setting up a monthly payment with you. They then make the first monthly payment. Barclays will then handle all the future payments on their own.
If the customer cancels this payment, you will be notified via Barclays. Any management of these payments is all done within the ePDQ back office, the website will only take the first payment, and that is it.
